The situation
The site was dated and slow, with an SEO health score of 39 out of 100.
The Google Ads account had drifted. A leftover test group was running inside Performance Max, bid targets were set so low they strangled good campaigns, and the store was paying for clicks on searches for its own name.
What we found
- A dated, slow storefront
- An SEO health score of 39 out of 100
- A leftover test group running inside Performance Max
- Bid targets so low they strangled good campaigns

What we did
Designed and built a new storefront
We designed and built a new storefront on a fast, modern theme, on a staging copy, and migrated the catalogue across.
Launched with a way back
The new store launched on a planned date, with a rollback we had tested beforehand.
Fixed the SEO before launch
Titles, descriptions, headings, structured data and internal links, plus the products that had been sitting in Uncategorised.
Researched NZ keywords
Keyword research for the category pages and for the Search campaigns.
Cleaned up Google Ads
We cleaned up the Google Ads account, starting with the problems above.
Where it stands
The new store is live on its fast theme, with the SEO groundwork done before launch.
